FOTSS' mission is to support the aims and goals of Sea Scouts in Texas which involve educational and training programs and activities for girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 21.
Friends of Texas Sea Scouting (FOTSS) is a 501(C)(3) charitable corporation. Direct financial support is provided to ships throughout the state for safety equipment, craft maintenance, and other unit expenses.
FOTSS supports Sea Scout events and training, and provides scholarships for youth who could not otherwise afford to attend national training and Sea Scout events.

FOTSS is proud to help the National Sea Scout committee of the Boy Scouts of America in it's celebration efforts.
The National committee has authorized the only official national patch to celebrate this anniversary. They have directed that all profits be pledged to the National Sea Scout Memorial fund.
